RECENT RECOMMENDATIONS

"You've landed at the truly amazing Erin Rivero, no need to look further. She is the hire you need and the one who will supercharge your operation.

While I worked with her, Erin ran the metadata and design teams for two giant NBCUniversal launches... first Peacock which became the fastest growing streaming service in the US, and then SkyShowtime which launched in 22 countries. Imagine a scenario where you have to create and optimize complex sets of copy, metadata and imagery across tech systems and algorithms that are still being built, and then do it in 22 languages. That's Erin.

Absolutely, Erin is super strong in the written word, in TV tech, working with engineers, creatives, product folks... driving new requirements and features for startup enterprises. But building new businesses also requires building new cultures, and Erin's empathy and management styles were crucial to us creating a team vibe of folks who absolutely loved working together (but also liked to win and chased the goals super hard).

In conclusion, Erin is awesome and will be a great addition to your team."

Tom Blaxland
SVP, Content Ops & Editorial (Peacock & SkyShowtime)
NBCUniversal

"I cannot say enough good things about Erin. I have had the distinct pleasure of working with her and her team at Peacock for the past 3 years. Erin is a dedicated professional, a passionate advocate, and just an all-around wonderful person. Her leadership has had an enormous influence on the totally fun look and feel of the Peacock platform. She is a lover of detail and nuance, an outstanding manager and leader, and one of the best presenters I've ever seen. She exudes an irresistible combination of professionalism and joy.

I have also been fortunate to work with Erin on a few passion projects within NBC/Universal, and she really brings everything she's got to causes she believes strongly in. She is not afraid to respectfully press an issue and actively seek mutually beneficial solutions to sticky problems. But mainly Erin is a delight to be around. Her infectious personality, sharp intellect, well-earned self-confidence, and boundless compassion make it so you just want more and more of her in your life and work."

Sr. Copywriter (Peacock)

"Erin is a world class coworker and even better person. Her passion, creativity, skill set, ingenuity, and ability to create and foster an incredible and supportive work environment are second to none. I consider myself extremely lucky to have spent four years working with Erin and am extremely confident that whoever gets the chance to do the same, for the rest of her career, will agree."

ACADEMIC ENDORSEMENTS

"I had the pleasure of working with Erin in the capacity of a publishing project. She contributed a chapter to a book I edited, which was a year-long process. Erin oversaw composing the initial draft, responding to revisions, and communicating with co-authors to provide a very cohesive and compelling piece of writing on librarianship and social justice. The final chapter is a stand-out contribution to the book, and Erin has made the whole editing process much easier through her quick and courteous replies and strong initial contribution. This is someone you want to work with!"

Eamon C. Tewell
Reference and Instruction Librarian
Long Island University, Brooklyn, NY

"I had the good fortune to work with Erin via a virtual internship while she was a graduate student. The project involved a substantial amount of challenging research plus professional-level synthesis and presentation of her research findings in a manner easily accessible to a lay reader. Erin not only excelled at the research, synthesis, and presentation aspects of the internship but also managed to successfully navigate the common challenges of a virtual working relationship – self-direction, effective time management, and excellent communication processes... I would look forward to another opportunity to work with her. Great skills, great attitude, great execution!"

Kim Dority
President, Dority & Associates, Inc.
Denver, CO

"Ms. Rivero was one of my very best students... a stellar and dynamic performer and proved to be not only reliable, but also a team leader, and critical thinker in case problem solution analysis... She understands how to translate content effectively with a focus on audience--not surprising given that she also has worked in many capacities in different libraries, serving diverse populations... In sum, I am convinced that Ms. Rivero is a capable, highly professional, and goal oriented leader who will know how to connect vision with action."

Marion Philadelphia, Ed.D.
Professor of Clinical Business Communication

"I had the pleasure of teaching Erin in USC’s Master of Library Science program, and am happy to recommend her to all wholeheartedly. Erin is curious, intelligent, quick to grasp new ideas, and relentless in her pursuit of knowledge... One of her greatest assets is her creativity and sincere desire for continuous improvement. She produced one of the single best term papers that I have ever reviewed... I have no doubt that she will succeed in all her future endeavors."
